While there are many components of Episcopalianism , I do very much appreciate "The Book of Common Prayer". If you follow it, then every year you read the same passages on the same day, and helps remind you of God's words in a liturgical manner. It is by no means a replacement for the Bible, but it is a great supplement.
Take this morning, which had both Psalm 40 and Psalm 54 as the daily psalms. On is a cry for God's Assistance, and the other is thanksgiving for the blessings for trusting in the Lord.
As the Christmas season moves more and more back towards it's Pagan origins it is ever so wonderful to read these psalms.
